Famous Chicken Roosts In Omaha Saturday

He has entertained sports fans all over the country. On Saturday, January 13th, The Famous San Diego Chicken brings his classic act to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' game with the Houston Aeros. Game time is 7:00 p.m. His appearance is being sponsored by Children's Hospital in Omaha.

"The Famous San Diego Chicken is a legend in the sports world, and we appreciate the support from Children's Hospital to help us introduce him to hockey fans in Omaha," said Ren Smith, Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' President. "All of our fans, especially kids and families, are going to enjoy his show and some great hockey too."

In addition to performing during the intermissions of the Knights' game with Houston, The Famous Chicken also will be making appearances in Omaha on Friday. He will appear on the Channel 6 Midday News between 11:30 - 12:00 p.m. and later visits patients at Children's Hospital at 2:15 p.m. Knights' players Brent Krahn and Tomi Maki will join him at the hospital.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights return to action on Wednesday when they host the Toronto Marlies at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for all Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' games are on sale at the Omaha Civic Auditorium box office Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets also are available through all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at (402) 422-1212. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult on tickets purchased after 5:00 p.m. Other restrictions apply.
