
Dubielewicz Selected as All-Star

The American Hockey League announced today that Bridgeport Sound Tigers' goaltender Wade Dubielewicz has been selected to the Canadian AHL All-Star team. Dubielewicz will represent the Sound Tigers at the 2007 Rbk All-Star Classic, January 28-29 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. Dubielewicz, a Kerrobert, Saskatchewan native, joins other top AHL players born in Canada who will compete against the PlanetUSA All-Stars.
Dubielewicz has appeared in 15 games this season and has eight wins, three regulation losses and three shootout defeats. He has a goals against average of 2.54 and a save percentage of .918.
This is the goaltender's second All-Star selection. Dubielewicz previously played in the 2004 AHL All-Star Game, held in Grand Rapids; the season he set AHL records for goals against average (1.38) and highest save percentage (.946).
The Sound Tigers return to the Arena at Harbor Yard to host the Philadelphia Phantoms on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. for the first of four straight home games.
