
Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium Announces 2019 Spring Training Schedule

JUPITER, FL - Earlier today Major League Baseball announced the entire 2019 Spring Training Schedule for both the Grapefruit League and Cactus League. In accordance, the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals will be back at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in 2019 for a total of 30 games.
The New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, 2017 World Series Champion Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, and Washington Nationals will all visit Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium during Grapefruit League action in the coming year. Five of the returning opponents for the Cardinals and Marlins currently sit in contention for a 2018 playoff spot, with Houston and Atlanta both leading their respective divisions, while the Phillies, Nationals and Yankees fight for a wildcard spot. The 2017 World Series Champion and AL West Division Leader Houston Astros, return to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on Tuesday, February 26th and will play a total of five times at the stadium, including two night games.
In what's become a yearly tradition, the season will officially kick off on Saturday, February 23rd as the Marlins play host to Spring Training stadium rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals, at 1:05pm. In total, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium will host 15 home games for the Marlins and 15 home games for the Cardinals. The upcoming Spring Training season will feature three night games. On Friday, March 15th the Cardinals will host the Houston Astros at 6:05 p.m. The Marlins then host the Washington Nationals on Friday, March 22rd at 7:05 p.m. and the Houston Astros the following evening at 7:05 p.m.
Back by popular demand, the New York Yankees make the trip east to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium once for 2019 Grapefruit League action. The Cardinals will host the Yankees on Thursday, March 21st at 1:05 p.m.
After nearly ten years, the Philadelphia Phillies return to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium for Grapefruit League action on Monday, March 18th to square off against the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Following a year break, the Detroit Tigers return on Monday, February 25th at 1:05 p.m. against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Season tickets and Mini Plans for both the Marlins and Cardinals can be purchased starting on October 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium Ticket Office or by calling (561) 630-1828. Individual game tickets are set to go on sale on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Fans interested in the March 21st game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees are strongly encouraged to purchase Season tickets, Groups or Mini Plans for the 2019 season, as games of this magnitude sell out quickly.
Group ticket reservations can also be made starting on Tuesday, October 9th for the 2019 Spring Training season. Groups can take advantage of the newly renovated luxury suites, Cassidy Cool Zone, Corona Beach House (formerly the Bullpen Club), Reserved Box seats, or the bleachers.
