HIT 'EM UP: The Red Wings offense notched a season-high 17 hits last night on their way to a 10-1 win, evening their series against Syracuse at two games apiece...this included multi-hit performances from RF VICTOR ROBLES , CF JAMES WOOD , 1B JUAN YEPEZ , 2B JAKE ALU , and C DREW MILLAS , resulting in the most hits in a game from a Wings offense since 4/12/2023, and most against the Mets since 7/1/2019...RHP THADDEUS WARD turned in 6.0 innings while allowing one earned on the way to his first career Triple-A win, while RHP ADONIS MEDINA logged 2.0 scoreless innings in relief...Rochester looks to secure at least a series split this afternoon, sending RHP JOAN ADON to the mound against Syracuse RHP Max Kranick...

This is the first time Rochester has scored double-digit runs without a home run since 5/27/2023 at Toledo.

The Wings offense posts' a .272 (241-for-887) batting average this season, third-best in the International League.

THE HATEFUL EIGHT: The Wings offense combined to score eight runs in the sixth inning yesterday...14 batters came to the plate and totaled eight total hits, the most runs in an inning by a Rochester offense since 5/18/2023 at Buffalo and most at Innovative Field since the sixth inning on 8/22/2019 (also vs. BUF)...

2B JAKE ALU logged two hits in the inning, becoming the seventh Red Wing to do so since 2021 and the first since Matt Adams on 5/27/2023 at Toledo.

NOTHING FREE: Rochester's pitching staff combined to allow just one walk in the game yesterday, their fewest in a game this season since the final game of the 2023 season on 9/24 at Indianapolis...coming into the game, the Wings had averaged 5.2 free passes per game.

JUST DREW IT: C DREW MILLAS posted his second consecutive multi-hit game last night, finishing 3-for-5 with three singles...over his last four games dating back to game one of a doubleheader on 4/27, the switch-hitting catcher has logged eight hits in 16 at-bats (.500) with two home runs, a double, and two RBI...

Millas has not logged back-to-back multi-hit performances since 7/27 and 7/28 in 2023.

THAD BOD: RHP THADDEUS WARD turned in the Red Wings' second quality start of 2024 last night, logging 6.0 innings for the first time since 2019, allowing one earned on five hits while striking out eight and walking one, earning his first Triple-A win...eight strikeouts are the most by a Wings pitcher this season and the most from Ward since 9/2/2022 with Double-A Portland (BOS)...

This is the first time he has allowed one or fewer earned runs through at least 6.0 innings of work since 7/3/2019 with Single-A Salem (BOS).

6.0 innings pitched is tied for the most from a Red Wings pitcher this season (Watkins, 4/30).

JEDI ROBE(LES): RF VICTOR ROBLES has now notched a hit in all four games on his rehab appearance with Rochester, going 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored yesterday night...

This was his first multi-hit game of the season and first since his final game of 2023 (6/20 with WSH).

RAKE ALU: 2B JAKE ALU collected a pair of hits last night, going 2-for-5 at the dish with a double and three runs scored, one of five multi-hit performances from the Wings offense yesterday...through 19 career games against the Mets since 2022, he posts a .360 batting average (27-for-75) with four home runs, eight doubles, 18 RBI, three walks, 15 runs scored, and a 1.002 OPS.

HOW TO HIT A 3-WOOD: CF JAMES WOOD roped three line drives into left-center field to turn in a 3-for-4 day at the plate that included three RBI, a run scored, and a walk...this is Wood's team-leading 10th multi-hit effort of the year and his second game with three hits or more...

Wood leads the team in batting average (.327, 35-for-107), hits (35), doubles (9), walks (20), runs scored (22), and on-base percentage (.433).
