WEEK 18 - RIVERMEN ACTION (0-4-0-0)
Tuesday, February 5 - RIVERMEN 1 vs. Manitoba Moose 4
Peoria fell behind 3-0 after two periods of play, finally getting on the board on Julian Talbot's power play marker at 7:43 of the third period from Charles Linglet and Yan Stastny. Jimmy Sharrow added an insurance goal later in the period as the Moose beat the Rivermen for the first time this season after losing a pair of games in Winnipeg in January.
Friday, February 8 - RIVERMEN 1 @ Quad City Flames 2
Nicholas Drazenovic put Peoria ahead 1-0 with his ninth goal of the year at 6:04 of the first period, but the Flames clawed back into the game on Carsen Germyn's power play goal at 17:22 of the second stanza. With both teams getting numerous scoring chances leading into the third, it was the Flames who finally capitalized as Germyn scored his second goal of the game at 14:28 to provide the win.
Saturday, February 9 - RIVERMEN 0 @ Iowa Stars 1
Yet another goaltender's duel went to the home team as Tobias Stephan made 26 saves to shut out Peoria 1-0. The game marked the second time this season Peoria had been held without a goal, the first coming back on November 30 in Houston against the Aeros. Marty Sertich notched the game winner off a Chris Connor slot feed at 10:39 of the third period.
Sunday, February 10 - RIVERMEN 2 @ Milwaukee Admirals 3
The Rivermen allowed a shorthanded marker just 51 seconds into the middle frame and were down 2-0 3:06 into the period before Chris Porter scored off his own rebound at 11:41. Cody Franson would then net a five-on-three power play goal at 17:13, with Cal O'Reilly picking up his second helper of the game. In the third, Charles Linglet recorded a four-on-four goal as he walked in front of the Milwaukee goal to make it 3-2, but the Rivermen were unable to draw any closer.
