Hamilton hosts three games this week before a road trip to Rochester on Sunday

The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will play four games this week, including three tilts at Copps Coliseum. Hamilton will host their division rivals the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) twice on Wednesday, February 13th, and Friday, February 15th. Both games will start at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. The 'Dogs will also battle the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) on Saturday, February 16th at 7:00 p.m. The Club will then travel to Rochester to take on the Americans (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers) on Sunday, February 17th at 6:05 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena.

Last week, Hamilton posted a 2-1-0-0 record in three games against Western Conference opponents. The Bulldogs edged the Lake Erie Monsters 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday, February 6th before posting a 5-2 victory on Friday, February 8th over the San Antonio Rampage at Copps Coliseum. Hamilton was then shutout 3-0 on Saturday, February 9th by the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum to round out the week.

On Friday, February 15th at 7:30 p.m. when the Bulldogs host the Toronto Marlies at Copps Coliseum, fans can catch the game LIVE on Cable 14 with Todd Crocker (Play-By-Play), Norm Miller (Colour Commentary) and Laura Leigh (Ice-Level Host).

- RW Eric Manlow ended Hamilton's franchise-long home goalless drought (Jan. 23 - Feb. 6) at 151:55 with his seventh tally of the campaign at 11:08 of the opening frame on Feb. 6th against Lake Erie. The Bulldogs' previous franchise-long span without a goal at home was 138:55 from November 12th-to-26th during the 2004-2005 season

- C Corey Locke became Hamilton's all-time leader in assists last week with 124 surpassing Peter Sarno who registered 123 helpers as a Bulldog. Locke is already the franchise's all-time leader in goals and points and his next point will be the 200th of his career

- On Feb. 8th, the Montreal Canadiens acquired right-winger Brett Engelhardt from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for forward Francis Lemieux. Engelhardt, who was assigned to Hamilton after the trade, played his first game as a Bulldog on Saturday in Toronto

- C Kyle Chipchura and D Ryan O'Byrne each played in their 100th career AHL games on Feb. 9th versus the Toronto Marlies. O'Byrne was recalled by the Montreal Canadiens (NHL) the next day (Feb. 10th)

- Montreal RW Andrei Kostitsyn recorded four points this past week against the Ottawa Senators, scoring two goals and adding two helpers in a 4-3 win (Feb. 5) and a 6-1 loss (Feb. 9)

- Montreal C Tomas Plekanec registered five points last week, tallying two goals and an assist against Ottawa (Feb. 5) and picking up a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss versus Toronto (Feb. 7)

- Dallas C Mike Ribeiro picked up five points in the last seven days, recording two assists in a 3-2 win versus Vancouver (Feb. 5) and a goal and two assists in a 6-2 win over St. Louis (Feb. 9)

- Columbus LW Jason Chimera notched three goals in three consecutive games last week, with goals coming in a 4-3 loss to Washington (Feb. 5), a 2-1 win over Phoenix (Feb. 7) and in a 2-1 loss versus San Jose (Feb. 8)

- Anaheim D Francois Beauchemin earned two assists this past week in victories over the New York Islanders (Feb. 5) and the New Jersey Devils (Feb. 8)
