
Rivermen Merchandise Blowout Begins Friday

Peoria, Ill. (January 20, 2005) â Director of Merchandise/Game Operations Angie Sammons of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that nearly all Rivermen Merchandise has undergone drastic reductions for the rest of the regular season due to the fact that the team's storage space is slated to be diminished during the 18-month Peoria Civic Center revitalization.
Popular Rivermen merchandise items include: Rivermen Adult replica jerseys, on sale for just $65; Youth replica jerseys available for $59; All Rivermen caps for $10 each; all Rivermen T-shirts for $10 each; and Rivermen sweatshirts (Adult, Youth & Toddler sizes in stock) from $12-30.
The Rivermen Sports Shop, located in the basement of Carver Arena next to the Rivermen business offices, is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each week day and on game days. Fans may also order online 24 hours a day through the Rivermen Web site â www.rivermen.net.
The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â The Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Rivermen host the North Division-leading Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies on Friday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, it is another Peoria Journal Star/Insight Media Family Day. Kids 12 and Under receive a $2 Upper Bowl admission, and there are $2.50 Kids Meals available. Angelica from the Rugrats will be on hand to interact with fans.
