
Rochester Returns Hutchins

BILOXI, Miss. â The Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League announced today that left wing Jeff Hutchins has been reassigned to the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL.
Hutchins, 26, comes back to Mississippi after receiving his first AHL call up of the season, appearing in three games with Rochester tallying one goal, which was the game-winner on January 16 in the Americans 3-2 win versus Utah. Selected as Mississippi's 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game representative on January 26 at Reading, Pennsylvania, Hutchins leads the Sea Wolves with 17 goals and six power-play markers. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Hutchins has also accumulated 16 assists and 33 points in 32 games to go along with a plus/minus of +14 and 122 penalty minutes. The 6-foot and 205-pound Hutchins was named runner up for the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week from December 27 to January 2.
Hutchins and the Sea Wolves get back into action at 7:35 p.m. tomorrow against the Augusta Lynx at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
