
Forster replaces Dexter in Reading

Victoria, BC â Victoria Salmon Kings defenseman Nate Forster has been named as the replacement player for Brad Dexter at the up-coming Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game.
Since signing with the Salmon Kings in late November Forster's role on the hockey club has constantly become more important. Forster plays regular shifts on the power-play and penalty killing units for the Salmon Kings and is honored to play in his first ECHL All-Star game.
Forster has accumulated 3 goals and 6 assists in 23 games with the Salmon Kings this season.
The Victoria, BC native played junior hockey with the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) and was a seventh round draft pick of the Washington Capitals in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
The Coors Light ECHL All-Star game will be held at the Sovereign Centre in Reading Pennsylvania, home of the Reading Royals, on Wednesday January 26, 2005. The Coors Light ECHL Skills Competition will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2005.
Jersey Reversal
The ECHL and the Victoria Salmon Kings announce that effective January 28, 2005 home teams will begin wearing the dark colored shirts and the visiting teams will wear light colors.
Catch the Victoria Salmon Kings for the final time in their home white uniforms against the Alaska Aces on Friday January 21 and Saturday January 22, 2005, game time is 7:00 p.m. PST and Sunday January 23, 2005, game time is 1:00 p.m. PST. All games are at Bear Mountain Arena.
The Victoria Salmon Kings welcome a family skate after the game on Sunday with the players of the Victoria Salmon Kings hockey club. Admission to the skate is on a first come first serve basis and by donation to Kids Sport and the BC Games. Please bring your skates to arena as there are no rental facilities in the building. Helmets are recommended.
