Friday, February 12, 2010 - Mississippi at Tulsa - 7:35 PM

The RiverKings return to the BOK Center in Tulsa Friday night for the fifth straight time this season in an eleven-game season series. Mississippi has a 1-2-1 record in the previous four meetings in Oklahoma for three points. The RiverKings will play their third contest in Missouri and are 0-2-0 in the previous two meetings, although Mississippi has a 5-3-0 edge in the season series. Bobby Chaumont has scored six goals and has ten points against the Mavericks this season. Goaltender Mark Sibbald is 2-0-0 against Missouri and Tim Boron is 0-1-0 against the Mavericks.

Sunday, February 14, 2010 - Wichita at Mississippi - 3:05 PM

The RiverKings play the third game in a three-game weekend with a Valentine's Day matinee against the Thunder at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven. Mississippi is 2-1-1 against the Thunder this season. Ryan Held has scored three goals and has seven points to lead the RiverKings' offense against Wichita this year. Goaltender Mark Sibbald is 1-0-0 against Wichita and Tim Boron is 0-0-1 against his former team.

TRENDING....

Ryan Held has the second-longest active point streak in the Central Hockey League with eleven points in his last nine games, dating back to January 22.

Derek Landmesser and Kevin Truelson each have two assists in their last two games.

Stephen Margeson has two assists in his last two games and four points in his last three contests.

Darrell Stoddard has eight points in his last four games, dating back to January 30.

Mississippi is in the middle of its longest stretch on non-success on the scoreboard. The RiverKings' 0-3-1 stretch, dating back to January 30, is also the second-longest non-win active streak in the CHL.

THREE'S THE MAGIC NUMBER...

Mississippi has won only one game this year when they've allowed four or more goals a game to the opposition, now standing 1-14-3 when the number four or higher shows on the opponents' scoreboard. However, the RiverKings are 21-4-2 when allowing three or fewer goals a game.

HE'S A SHOOTER...

Bobby Chaumont took ten shots on goal in Saturday night's game against Wichita. That's equals the now-departed Cam Severson for the most shots taken in one game by a RiverKing this season.

HAT CHECK, PLEASE

Darrell Stoddard's three-goal hat-trick against Allen on Tuesday night was the RiverKings' fourth "hat" of the season, including Louis Dumont's four-goal performance against Colorado on December 4. Bobby Chaumont (November 21 - Missouri) and Ryan Held (October 17 - Wichita) are the other RiverKings to score three-goal hat-tricks this season. Last year, Stoddard's four-goal performance in the third period of a win against Wichita was the lone effort netting a hat-trick honorarium.
