(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes split their weekend series with the Colorado Eagles, but Mike Ramsay continues to play red hot for the Jackalopes. The team starts a road-trip this week with a pair against first place Rapid City.

Last week's record: 2-1-0

Season overall: 36-7-4

Tuesday vs. Corpus Christi, 5-2 Win

Mike Ramsay scored a pair of power play goals while Juha Toivonen stopped 33 shots in Odessa's win over the IceRays. The Jackalopes are now 6-0-0 against Corpus Christi this season.

Friday vs. Colorado, 5-3 Loss

Steve Haddon's second period goal at 9:14 proved to be the game winner, as the Jacks fell behind 4-1 before scoring a couple late goals in a comeback effort. The team fell short however, losing 5-3.

Saturday vs. Colorado, 9-4 Win

Mike Ramsay stole the show again with a first period hat trick in a 4:10 span. Ramsay's three goals turned an early 2-0, Colorado lead into a 3-2, Odessa advantage. The Jackalopes never looked back adding six more for the 9-4 win.

It's the first ever meeting between the Jackalopes and Rapid City Rush. Both teams currently occupy first place in their respective conferences, Rapid City in the North and Odessa in the South. The Rush are 31-10-3 on the year.

The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
