Bucks To Welcome Nearly 5,000 Kids Tuesday

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League are set to welcome nearly 5,000 kid's to the Laredo Entertainment Center Tuesday morning in their annual McDonald's Kid's Day game. The Bucks host the Ice Rays at 11am.

Ronald McDonald will be on hand to meet and greet the school children as well as to share information on McDonald's balanced and active lifestyle campaign which includes a healthy menu for children.

The Bucks will be handing out TAKS testing tips packets to the students as well as showing video clips on the jumbo tron with players giving testing advice and information.

"This day is meant to be very educational for the students and we are trying to help them out as much as we can by giving them testing tips," said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.

The Bucks will welcome around 30 different schools to the game including Zapata and Hebronville.

The Bucks will offer a "working man's lunch special" Tuesday as well, purchase a ticket to the game and receive a voucher for a FREE lunch! (Hot dog, chips, soda and cookie).
