
River Cats Continue Struggles with Tucson

Sacramento River Cats News Release
The Sacramento River Cats (57-36) lost 9-3 to the Tucson Sidewinders (46-44) Tuesday at Raley Field in West Sacramento, Calif. RHP Edgar Gonzalez (7-2) earned the win for Tucson, allowing just 1 ER on 4 H in 7.0 IP. RHP Erik Hiljus (9-6) took the loss for Sacramento, allowing 7 ER on 7 H in 6.1 IP. CF Chris Prieto led the Cats' offense with 2 H, but the Sidewinders out-hit the River Cats 14-6 in the game.
With the loss, Sacramento is now 26-15 in 41 games at Raley Field. They are 1-5 against Tucson this season.
