
Redbirds and Aces Suspended in Reno

Memphis Redbirds News Release
RENO, Nev. - Thursday night's scheduled contest between the Memphis Redbirds and Reno Aces was suspended due to inclement weather and field conditions at Aces Ballpark.
The game was sent into a rain delay with one out in the bottom of the first inning with the game tied at 0-0.
It will be resumed at 6:05 p.m. CT on Friday, August 8, and followed by a seven-inning game between the Redbirds and Aces, which will approximately begin 30 minutes after the completion of the resumed game.
Left-hander Nick Greenwood (2-4, 5.40) will start the suspended game for the Redbirds. Memphis' starting pitcher for the nightcap will be announced at a later time.
