Tonight's Game Postponed

Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release

Tonight's game between the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and the Nashville Sounds has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The game is scheduled to be made up tomorrow as part of a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m, with both games being seven-inning contests. Tickets for tonight's game are considered rain checks and fans can redeem those tickets for any future 2013 regular season home game by exchanging them at the Sky Sox box office.

Tomorrow's pitching matchup for game one will be RHP Chris Volstad (5-4, 4.95) for the Sky Sox against RHP Johnny Hellweg (10-4, 2.44) for the Sounds. Game two will feature Sky Sox starter RHP Cory Riordan (4-4, 6.75) versus Sounds starter LHP Aaron Laffey (1-2, 5.13). Tonight's scheduled starter RHP Armando Galarraga (0-1, 9.39) will start for the Sky Sox on Sunday.
