September 1, 2018 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Saturday evening's first game of the scheduled doubleheader between the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and the Oklahoma City Dodgers at Security Service Field was suspended before the start of the seventh inning due to wet grounds from heavy rain. The postponed game will be resumed tomorrow in the top of the seventh inning at 4:00 p.m. and a nine-inning game will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

All tickets for Saturday night are considered rain checks and are good for either tomorrow, September 2, or Labor Day, Monday, September 3. To exchange tickets, fans will need to present them at the Sky Sox ticket office.

Tomorrow will feature one of the more unique promotions of the year - a diamond giveaway, courtesy of McNulty Jewelers. Fans can also enjoy the ever-popular 50-cent hot dogs presented by Safeway available at all concessions throughout the game. All YMCA Kids Club members will be invited to run the bases following the game.

Monday, September 3 will feature a game-worn jersey raffle presented by Security Service Federal Credit Union. The jerseys of all nine Sky Sox starters and manager Rick Sweet will be raffled off throughout the game. Following the game, the Sky Sox will close out the current era of Professional baseball in Colorado Springs and celebrate the future, beginning in 2019, by inviting fans to stay and enjoy a petting zoo, campfires on the field, a movie on the video board, rocky mountain oysters, live music, and more.
