
Rampage to wig fans out with Mullets

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 24, 2005) - The San Antonio Rampage, the top affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, will pay tribute to the phenomenon of hockey hair when they host its 2nd Mullet Night on Saturday, Oct. 29. The Rampage will face the Peoria Rivermen at the SBC Center at 7 p.m.
The first 1,500 fans attending the game on Saturday will receive their very own mullet wig to wear. Throughout the game, the Rampage staff members will be looking for the "best mullet" haircut in San Antonio.
Contestants can sign up for the "best mullet" contest on Saturday at the SBC Center Guest Services area until the 10-minute mark of the second period. The winner of the contest will be crowned during the second intermission on-ice and will receive a trip for two (airfare, hotel, game tickets included) to see the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes play at Glendale Arena. Second and third place winners will receive Rampage prize packages.
In addition to the Mullet Night, there will be a Halloween costume contest for children. A prize will be a given to the best costume and candy will be distributed during the game at select locations in the SBC Center.
