
Miller rejoins Wolves

The Chicago Wolves have signed 12-year National Hockey League veteran center KIP MILLER.
The 36-year-old forward recorded 165 assists and 239 penalty minutes in 449 NHL games with the Quebec Nordiques (1990-1992), Minnesota North Stars (1991-92), San Jose Sharks (1993-94), New York Islanders (1994-95, 1997-98 and 2001-02), Chicago Blackhawks (1995-96), Pittsburgh Penguins (1998-2001), Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (1999-2000) and Washington Capitals (2002-2004).
MILLER, Quebec's fourth pick (72nd overall) in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, accrued 11 assists and 17 points in 25 NHL playoff games.
The Lansing, Mich., native was awarded the 1990 Hobey Baker Memorial Award as the top U.S. collegiate player after registering 48 goals, 53 assists and 101 points in 45 games with Michigan State University during his senior year. Overall, he accrued 118 goals, 143 assists and 261 points in 176 career games spanning four seasons with the Spartans.
MILLER received the 1995 N.R. "Bud" Poile Trophy as the International Hockey League's MVP after leading the Denver Grizzlies to the Turner Cup Championship with 15 goals and 29 points in 17 postseason games.
He collected 41 assists and 52 points in 43 games with the Wolves during the 1996-97 season.
