The Wolf Pack snagged three out of a possible four points in their first two road games of the season this week, losing in overtime in Springfield on Friday 4-3 and then snapping a three-game losing streak with a 6-5 triumph at Hershey Saturday. Saturday's game saw three Wolf Pack youngsters, Jake Taylor, Colby Genoway and Nigel Dawes, all score their first pro goals.

This week:

The Pack faces its first three-games-in-three days challenge, with a GEICO Connecticut Cup home game vs. Bridgeport on Saturday sandwiched in between away games Friday in Providence and Sunday at Manchester.

Tuesday, October 25 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410

The Wolf Pack's newly-renamed weekly hourlong live radio show (formerly "Pack Talk") originates live from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon from 7 to 8:00 p.m. This week's edition will be a special "behind the scenes" glimpse, as such indispensable contributors to the Wolf Pack as athletic trainer Damien Hess and Civic Center Zamboni driver Wayne Knight are scheduled to talk about their roles with host Bob Crawford. Bob and his guests will be taking questions from the live audience at Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on ESPN Radio 1410 and at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

Friday, October 28 at Providence (Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence), 7:05 p.m.

The Bruins have won two of their first three games, including an 8-2 blowout of the Falcons in Springfield on Saturday.

Former AHL goal-scoring champ Eric Healey has been the early pacesetter for Providence, averaging three points per game (4-5-9) through the first three contests.

Saturday, October 29 vs. Bridgeport at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

This is the first game of the GEICO Connecticut Cup challenge between the two Nutmeg State rivals. The Wolf Pack won the inaugural GEICO Connecticut Cup last season, going 6-2-2-0 vs. the Sound Tigers.

Bridgeport is 2-3-1-0 for five points through its first six games of the season.

Sixth-year pro Justin Papineau, another ex-AHL goals leader, tops the Sound Tigers in points with 5-4-9 in 6 GP.

All fans who attend this game will receive a Wolf Pack team poster, courtesy of Minuteman Press.

The Wolf Pack will be celebrating Halloween, as Guylian Chocolates and 96.5 TIC-FM will be distributing Halloween candy, and there will be a Halloween costume contest at the game.

Sunday, October 30 at Manchester (Verizon Wireless Arena), 4:05 p.m.

The Wolf Pack defeated the Monarchs in the season opener October 8th in Hartford, winning by a score of 4-3.

The Monarchs, the defending Eastern Conference regular-season champions, are 2-2-0-1 for five points through their first five games.

Rookie Konstantin Pushkarev (2-2-4) and former AHL All-Rookie selection Noah Clarke (0-4-4) have led the Manchester offense thus far.
