SAN ANTONIOanuary 4, 2011) - "It ain't over until the fat lady sings", a common phrase coined by the late Dan Cook, a long-time San Antonio sportscaster, might literally become a truth as the San Antonio Rampage host Opera Night this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Opera Night is presented by SWBC.

Members of the San Antonio Opera will sing the national anthem, perform at each intermission and throughout the game, providing a unique experience for fans that combines the hard-hitting sport of hockey with the melodious flow of opera. The night will feature performances by William Chapman, one of San Antonio's Three Tenors, and mezzo soprano Tynan Davis, San Antonio native and sister of Olympic gold medalist swimmer Josh Davis.

In addition, the game will be broadcasted on FSN Southwest with Andrew Monaco calling the play-by-play action and Dan Weiss providing color commentary. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or visiting sarampage.com.
