Anaheim Recalls Right Wing Dan Sexton

Syracuse, NYanuary 4, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled right wing Dan Sexton.

Sexton, 23, has appeared in 14 games with the Crunch this season, ranking fifth on the club in scoring with 15 points (7g, 8a) to go along with four penalty minutes. He has also skated in 17 games with Anaheim this season, registering four points (2g, 2a) and two penalty minutes.

A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Sexton appeared in 76 games in two seasons with Bowling Green (CCHA) from 2007-09, recording 60 points (24g, 36a) and 34 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on April 7, 2009.

The Crunch continue their season-high seven-game road trip with a 7:05 p.m. match-up at Binghamton on Friday, January 7 at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Syracuse returns home to The Oncenter War Memorial Arena on January 15 for a 7:30 p.m. contest vs. rival Rochester.
