
Peter Delmas Assigned to Wheeling

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that goaltender Peter Delmas has been assigned to the Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League from the Bulldogs.
Delmas, 20, played in two games with the Bulldogs this season earning a record of 1-0-1 with a 1.92 goals-against-average and a .933 save percentage. In five games with Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League this year, Delmas has a 0-3-1 record along with a 4.85 goals-against-average and 0.836 save percentage. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 183-pound goaltender split the season between the Quebec Remparts and Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL. The native of Bedford, Nova Scotia earned a 15-9-0 record with a 3.15 goals-against-average and a .897 save percentage with the Remparts and a 5-7-0 record with a 3.42 goals-against-average and a .895 save percentage. Delmas was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2nd round, 61st overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and was signed as a free agent by Hamilton on October 14, 2010.
Hamilton will return to the ice on Wednesday, January 5th when they travel to Grand Rapids to battle the Griffins for a 7:00 p.m. game. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
