
Rampage sign Drake Berehowsky to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 21, 2005) - The San Antonio Rampage, the primary affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, announced today that they have signed defenseman Drake Berehowsky to a Professional Tryout Offer (PTO).
Berehowsky, 33, has played in 549 NHL games over parts of 13 seasons with Toronto, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Nashville, Vancouver and Phoenix. In his NHL career, the Toronto, Ontario native has recorded 37 goals and 112 assists for 149 points with 848 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-2, 211-pound blueliner has registered 17 goals and 44 assists for 61 points with 154 penalty minutes in 105 AHL games. The Rampage will be Berehowsky's fifth AHL team in a seven year span when San Antonio (3-4-0-0) hosts the Manchester Monarchs tonight at the SBC Center at 7 p.m.
