Peter Sarno out six weeks

Syracuse, NY (October 21, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that center Peter Sarno is expected to miss six weeks with a wrist injury, suffered on October 8 vs. Albany.

Sarno has appeared in three games with Syracuse this season, recording two goals, two assists and two penalty minutes. He signed as a free agent with Columbus on August 22, 2005. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Sarno has appeared in 373 career NHL and AHL games, tallying 72 goals, 212 assists and 227 penalty minutes.

The Crunch host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, October 21 for a 7:30 p.m. game. On Saturday, October 22, Syracuse hosts Rochester in a 7:30 p.m. match-up.
