
Rampage sign Brent Cullaton to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 12, 2005) - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that the club has signed right wing Brent Cullaton to a Professional Tryout Offer (PTO) and recalled him from the Laredo Bucks, the primary AA-affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes in the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Cullaton, celebrating his 31st birthday today, makes his Rampage season debut tonight when they face the Houston Aeros tonight at the Toyota Center at 7:35 p.m. He has played 50 career AHL games over parts of three seasons. The 6-foot, 220-pound forward has tallied 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points with 12 penalty minutes in his AHL career.
The 6-foot, 220-pound forward departs Laredo with a seven-game point streak and sharing the CHL lead with 12 assists and 15 points.
Cullaton, a native of Petawawa, Ontario, has been the Bucks' team captain since the 2003-04 season. Last season he had 50 points in 43 games and was second on the team with 21 goals. In 2003-04, he totaled 75 points in 39 regular season games and then led the CHL playoffs in scoring with 20 points as the Bucks captured the President's Cup. Cullaton has helped the Bucks reach the President's Cup Finals and has been selected to the starting lineup for the Southern Conference All-Star team each of the past two seasons.
