
Rampage receive Redenbach from Boston in exchange for Sauve

SAN ANTONIO (November 14, 2006) - The Phoenix Coyotes, the NHL affiliate of the San Antonio Rampage, today announced that they have acquired center Tyler Redenbach from the Boston Bruins in exchange for goaltender Philippe Sauve.
The 22-year-old Redenbach, who will report to San Antonio, returns to the Coyotes organization after being selected by Phoenix in the third round (77th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. The second-year pro has recorded five assists and six penalty minutes in 13 games with Boston's AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. After signing as a free agent with Boston on Sept. 7, 2005, the 6-foot, 195-pound forward had 26 goals and 32 assists for 58 points in a team-leading 78 games played as a rookie. He also led the P-Bruins with a plus-19 rating in 2005-06.
In 2003-04, the Melville, Saskatchewan native won the Bob Clarke Trophy as the Western Hockey League's top scorer and was selected to the WHL Second All-Star Team, registering 31 goals and 74 assists for 105 points with the Swift Current Broncos.
The 6-foot, 188-pound Sauve has played 10 games with the Rampage this season posting a 4-5-0 record with a 3.80 goals against average (GAA) and a .883 save percentage.
Last season, the 26-year-old native of Buffalo, New York played 13 games with the Coyotes and Calgary Flames, posting a 3-7-0 record. In 30 career NHL games, Sauve posted a 10-14-3 record with a 3.39 GAA.
TORDJMAN ASSIGNED TO SAN ANTONIO
The Coyotes also announced today that the team has assigned goaltender Josh Tordjman to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Tordjman has played nine games with the Coyotes' ECHL affiliate, the Phoenix RoadRunners this season, posting a 4-4-0 record with a 3.12 GAA and a .900 save percentage. The 6-foot-1, 155-pound native of Montreal, Quebec was signed as a free agent by the Coyotes on July 2, 2006.
