
Rampage reassign Cullaton to Laredo

SAN ANTONIO â Apr. 2, 2004 â San Antonio Rampage General Manager Bobby Jay announced today that the Rampage have reassigned center Brent Cullaton to the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Cullaton, 29, will re-join the Bucks as they take on the Amarillo Gorillas in the CHL Southern Conference Finals tonight in a best-of seven series match.
The 6-foot, 220-pound forward has played in three games with the Rampage (1-2-3, zero PIM) since being recalled from Laredo on March 28. He has played in 31 games this season with San Antonio, recording 5-11-16 totals with eight penalty minutes.
The Cambridge, Ontario native represented Laredo in the 2004 Dodge CHL All-Star game as a starter. Cullaton finished third on the Bucks squad in scoring this season with 50 assists and 75 points with a +36 plus/minus rating. He co-leads the Bucks in playoff scoring with five points (1-4=5) in three games.
The Rampage (26-38-8-0) face the Utah Grizzlies (26-38-6-5) for a two-game series in Utah beginning tonight at 8:05 p.m. (CST). The Rampage are eight points out from sharing the fifth and final playoff spot with Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. The Rampage are three points behind the Grizzlies entering tonight's game and have three games in hand on Utah.
