Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins raffled the "Jerseys Off Our Backs" to season ticketholders during Friday night's 3-0 win over the Springfield Falcons at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The event marked the beginning of a new annual tradition, as an added benefit for the team's season ticketholders. All jerseys from players on the team's active roster were raffled.
"We have been committed to continuing to build energy and excitement throughout our organization and fan base, and raffling our jerseys off to our season ticketholders was a very natural step in accomplishing that," said Bruins Co-Owner and President Matt Poore. "We are very excited as an organization to reward our loyal season ticketholders with the chance to win an actual game-worn jersey. Our fans have been outstanding in their support of the Providence Bruins, including many who have been with us for our 12 years here in Rhode Island. This event was just one way of thanking them, and we will continue to do so as a new yearly tradition."
