San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 19, 2005) - The San Antonio Rampage today announced that the club has claimed goaltender Karl Goehring off AHL waivers from the Chicago Wolves.

The 5-foot-8, 160-pound netminder has not played in a game this season.

Last season, the Apple Valley, Minnesota native led all Syracuse Crunch goaltenders in games played, minutes, wins and shutouts. In 49 games, Goehring posted a 23-22-0 record for a 2.75 goals-against average (GAA) and a .908 save percentage (SV%) with three shutouts. For his AHL career, Goehring has compiled a 2.66 GAA, .904 SV% and a 63-63-13 record in 136 games over a four year span (2001-2005).

A heavily awarded and accomplished goaltender, Goehring led the University of North Dakota to the NCAA National Championship in 2000. An All-American in 1999-00, Goehring shattered every North Dakota record, both single season and career, over impressive names like Jon Casey and Ed Belfour. Goehring finished his NCAA career with an amazing 80-20-13 record.

Goehring will join the club in Peoria, where the Rampage play the Rivermen tonight at 7 p.m. All games can be viewed through B2 Networks' live video web cast for $6 to anyone with a high-speed internet connection, through a link at www.sarampage.com . Individual and season ticket packages for the Rampage's 2005-06 season are on sale now. For ticket information, please call (210) 444-5050 or visit www.sarampage.com .
