Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs (7-9-0-1) will look for their eighth win of the season tonight when they travel to Iowa to face the Stars (5-9-0-0) for the first time. Hamilton is 0-2-0-0 so far on their current five-game road trip. The Bulldogs remain in a tie for fourth place in the North Division with the Cleveland Barons (7-8-0-1), while the Stars sit seventh in the West Division with 10 points. These two teams play for the second and final time this season on Monday, March 13 in Hamilton.

BULLDOGS NOTES

Ø LW Jean-Francois Jacques scored his team-leading eighth goal of the season last night in Hamilton's 3-1 loss to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.

Ø C Francis Lemieux, who had his four-game point streak snapped on Nov. 16 at Milwaukee (3-1 L), earned an assist last night and now has 6 points (1g-5a) in his last six games.

Ø The Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season when leading after one period last night (4-1-0-0).

Ø Hamilton has yet to win a game this season when trailing after two periods (0-6-0-0).

Ø Canadiens LW Tomas Plekanec posted one goal and one assist in Montreal's 5-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils last night.

BULLDOGS BATTLE OMAHA ON TUESDAY

The Bulldogs play the fourth game of their current five-game road trip on Tuesday, November 22, when they face the Omaha Knights for the second time this season at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Game time is 8:00 p.m.

BULLDOGS NEXT HOME GAME

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, November 25, when the Cleveland Barons visit Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Fans can watch the Bulldogs face the Barons live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
