Hershey Bears News Release

The BEARS and Phantoms have split the first two games of the 12-game season series; the third encounter is at GIANT Center at 7:00 p.m. tonight.

Friday at Philadelphia, HERSHEY again rallied from a two-goal deficit to force overtime, but lost in sudden death when Pat Kavanagh scored at the 1:58 mark of OT. Eric Fehr and Graham Mink both scored third period goals at the Spectrum Friday to account for the BEARS offense. Tonight's game is the beginning of seven home games in the next eight for the Chocolate and White, and the middle game of the first three games in three nights stretch since October 21-23.

Tickets for tonight's game against Philadelphia and tomorrow's meeting with Rochester are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR. Tonight's game can be heard on the radio in central Pennsylvania on 100.1 FM WQIC, 1490-AM WLPA in Lancaster, Pennlive.com and on video with B2 Networks through HersheyBears.com. John Walton has the call of the game beginning at 6:40 p.m.
