HERSHEY scores a franchise record seven power play goals en route to a 7-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phantoms at GIANT Center Saturday night. The win was the most lopsided victory over the Phantoms since Philadelphia entered the league in 1996-97.

Previously, the biggest win HERSHEY enjoyed over the Phantoms was on November 7, 1999 at the Wachovia Spectrum in a 5-1 triumph. The BEARS scored seven straight goals beginning with Graham Mink's 11th of the year at 18:59 of the first period. Mink and Louis Robitaille added goals in the second to take a 3-1 lead after two periods before a historic final period of play. Eric Fehr scored at 4:53 of the third, Mark Wotton at 5:41, Boyd Kane and 6:11 and Dave Steckel at 7:31 all on the power play. HERSHEY had never in franchise history recorded seven power play goals in a single regular season game. The BEARS also outshot Philadelphia for the game 49-18. Frederic Cassivi won the game for HERSHEY, making just 16 saves. Phantoms goaltender Jamie Storr gave up all seven goals and stopped 42 shots in defeat.

Mink was named the game's number one star, Fehr earned number two honors while Mike Green hauled down three star honors with three assists.

HERSHEY is back in action Sunday against Rochester. Face-off is at 5:00 p.m.
