
Rampage Assign Ross to Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (December 1, 2010) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has assigned defenseman Nick Ross to their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers. Ross, 21, has skated in two games with the Rampage this season posting a plus-1 rating. He has three assists in eight games with the Wranglers this season.
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound defenseman played in 47 games with the Rampage last season posting two assists and 19 penalty minutes. The Edmonton, Alberta native recorded an assist and two penalty minutes in seven games with the Wranglers last season. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round (30th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.
The Rampage embark on a three-in-three weekend series this Friday with their first stop against the Stars at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. They travel to Michigan on Saturday and Sunday for back-to-back games against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
