In Tuesday's action, Jason Krog tied the game with 2:25 to play in regulation and Darren Haydar notched the lone shootout goal for either side as Chicago rallied past Manitoba, 2-1; Wolves goaltender Peter Mannino made 25 saves and went 5-for-5 in the shootout... Mathieu Tousignant recorded a goal and an assist to pace Texas past Oklahoma City, 5-2.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Abbotsford begins a quick three-game road trip on Wednesday at Hamilton in the clubs' first meeting since the 2010 North Division Finals, won by the Bulldogs in six games... The Heat (12-9-0-2) are currently tied for third in the division, four points behind the first-place Bulldogs (13-4-1-3)... Abbotsford has totaled just three regulation goals in its last four games (1-3-0-0)... Heat goaltender Leland Irving (11-6-0, 2.17, .918) leads the AHL with 11 wins and has allowed two goals or fewer in each of his last 10 appearances... Matt Keith paces Abbotsford with 10 goals (10-3-13) in 23 games; no other member of the Heat has more than six tallies... Keith's 13 points are tied for the club lead with rookie Greg Nemisz (6-7-13), a first-round draft pick (No. 25) by Calgary Flames in 2008... Bulldogs forward Max Pacioretty, another former first-rounder, has racked up seven goals and 11 points in his last six games... Pacioretty leads Hamilton with 11 goals (11-14-25) and is tied for the club lead in points with linemate David Desharnais (7-18-25)... Hamilton goaltender Curtis Sanford (7-1-0) ranks among the AHL's top-five in both goals-against average (1.55) and save percentage (.942).
Manitoba, which has earned a point in four straight games (2-0-0-2) and nine of its last 10 (6-1-0-3), concludes a four-game road trip on Wednesday at Milwaukee... Moose head coach Claude Noel guided Milwaukee from 2003-07, leading the Admirals to a pair of Calder Cup Finals appearances and the 2004 championship... Manitoba goaltenders Eddie Lack (6-4-2, 1.89, .928) and Tyler Weiman (5-2-1, 2.46, .908) have combined to surrender only one goal in five straight games and two or fewer in each of the team's last eight contests... The Moose enter with the league's fourth-ranked defense overall (2.45 goals allowed per game), but the Admirals place third in that category (2.36)... Sergei Shirokov has a three-game assist streak (0-3-3) and leads Manitoba with 16 points (5-11-16) in 20 games for the year... Rookies Cody Hodgson (9-5-14), Bill Sweatt (5-7-12), and Jordan Schroeder (3-8-11) also sit near the top of the Moose scoring list... Admirals goaltender Mark Dekanich (9-3-3) ranks among the AHL's top-five in both goals-against average (1.63) and save percentage (.943), and he recorded three shutouts in 10 appearances during November... Linus Klasen paces Milwaukee in both goals (10) and points (17) in 19 games played, while defenseman Aaron Johnson shows four points (1-3-4) in his last two contests... Milwaukee is coming off a 10-game road trip (5-3-0-2) and playing its first home contest since Nov. 7.
Connecticut visits Worcester on Wednesday for the Atlantic Division rivals' first meeting since the Sharks collected a 4-3 road win back on Oct. 10... The teams will collide twice more during the month of December, including a Saturday contest in Hartford... The Whale are 4-1-0-1 in their last six games and, despite ranking tied for sixth in the tightly-packed Atlantic, sit just three points back of the third-place Sharks... Chad Kolarik has recorded five goals and eight points in eight games for the Whale since arriving via trade from the Columbus organization... Connecticut leading scorer Jeremy Williams has a point in four of his last five games (2-3-5), while rookie Mats Zuccarello shows 3-5-8 in his last six contests... Connecticut is trying to win three straight games for the first time this season... Worcester is coming off back-to-back home-ice losses last weekend to Charlotte and Manchester... Jonathan Cheechoo leads the Sharks with 20 points (7-13-20) in 21 games and recorded 1-2-3 in Worcester's Oct. 10 victory in Hartford... Benn Ferriero, who had 2-1-3 in that contest, is currently on NHL recall to San Jose... Worcester defenseman Sean Sullivan has a point in five of his last six outings (3-3-6), and rookie rearguard Matt Irwin is on a season-high three-game scoring run (2-1-3), including a goal in each of his last two contests... The Sharks have scored first in only eight of their 21 games this year but are 8-0-0-0 when doing so.

Rookie Jeremy Morin, who shows 6-3-9 in 17 games for Rockford this season, earned an assist for his first NHL point as part of Chicago's 7-5 win over St. Louis on Tuesday... Elsewhere, Anthony Stewart, who had 31 points in 77 games for AHL Chicago last season, notched the overtime goal to lift Atlanta past Colorado, 3-2... Two-time AHL All-Star Pekka Rinne recorded a 33-save shutout in Nashville's 3-0 win over Phoenix... On Monday, Jamie Benn tallied a goal and an assist as Dallas took a 4-1 victory at Carolina.
BY THE NUMBERS:
6 -- Shorthanded goals tallied by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, most in the AHL... The first-place Penguins, who have scored four of those six man-down markers on the road, visit division-rival Albany on Wednesday.
