SeaWolves left-fielder Wilkin Ramirez continues to rack up the accomplishments in 2008 as today, he was named to the 2008 Eastern League Season Ending All-Star Team.

Wilkin Ramirez is having a breakout season for the Erie SeaWolves, setting new career-highs in doubles (23), home runs (19) and RBI (71) while batting .314 with seven triples, 69 runs scored and 23 stolen bases.

The 22-year old is currently ranked second in the league in slugging percentage (.549), third in OPS (.927) and total bases (219), tied for third in steals (23), tied for fourth in home runs (19) and ranked sixth in batting average (.313).

Wilkin, who is a native of Bani, Dominican Republic, was a member of the World Team for the 2008 Futures Game where he went 1-for-1 with a walk and he was also selected for the Southern Division roster for the 2008 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game.
