Mequon, Wis. - After dropping game one, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (15-11) look to earn a series split against the Lakeshore Chinooks (9-18) and go into an off day on a winning note.

The Rafters rallied late and pulled within one run of the Chinooks, but ultimately came up short in a 3-2loss to Lakeshore Saturday. CJ Willis went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the loss.

The Rafters will start Jack Sinclair on the mound. Through three starts, Sinclair has a 1-1 record and a 1.28 ERA along with five strikeouts. Lakeshore has a team ERA of 4.78 and a team batting average of .220.

The Rafters sit in second place in the Great Lakes West Division, half a game ahead of the Wisconsin Woodchucks and three games behind the Madison Mallards.

Wisconsin Rapids' next game at Historic Witter Field will be Tuesday, June 25, for Skyward Educators Appreciation Night and an appearance by former Green Bay Packer and NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer.
