Pulock and Whitney Named to 2016 AHL All-Star Team

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The American Hockey League announced today that defenseman Ryan Pulock and forward Joe Whitney have been selected to represent the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the 2016 AHL All-Star Classic at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, N.Y. on Sunday, January 31 and Monday, February 1.
Pulock, 21, has been named an AHL All-Star for the second consecutive season. A first round selection (15th overall) by the New York Islanders, Pulock has appeared in 34 games this year, recording five goals and 10 assists.
Whitney, 27, earns a trip to the AHL All-Star Classic for the third straight season. The Boston native currently ranks third in the league in points with 32 (13-19-32). Tickets for the two-day 2016 Toyota AHL All-Star Classic are on sale now. Ticket prices range from $40-60 and can be purchased either in person at the Syracuse Crunch office located in the War Memorial Arena at 800 South State Street in Syracuse, by calling (315) 473-4444 or through all Ticketmaster outlets.
