Promotional Advisory: Griffins Promotion Schedule Packed for Two-Game Set Against Rampage

Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 vs. San Antonio Rampage

Backpack.jpg Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Scout Night: Hundreds of boy and girl scouts will be in attendance to celebrate scout night. At 4 p.m., each scout group will take part in the second annual egg drop, where each group will create a contraption built to protect an egg during a 2.5 story drop. Each scout will receive a patch as recognition of attendance.

Drawstring Backpacks: The first 5,000 fans will receive a Griffins drawstring backpack, courtesy of Dean Foods and Country Fresh.

Peter Rabbit: Bucket drummer Peter Rabbit will be on hand to perform during the first intermission. Rabbit began performing in PeterRabbit.jpg the streets of New York City, only later to be discovered and cast as one of the original members of the Broadway production and first national touring company of the five-time Tony Award-winning smash hit, Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk. After six years on Broadway, this phenomenal talent toured with artists like the Neville Brothers and Kanye West. Currently he is one of the most requested acts within NBA and N CAA arenas.

Sunday is Fun Day!: Fans can enjoy $1 Cole's breadsticks and $1 Pepsi products from 3-5 p.m.

Crazy Band and Jersey Card Giveaway: Kids in attendance will receive a goalie stick Crazy Band, while the first 1,500 fans will receive a Thomas McCollum jersey card presented by Cambridge Partners.

Jaded 8: Fans will be JerseyCards125.jpg treated to live music from Jaded 8 prior to the game on the concourse and during each intermission.

Library Night: Fans who present their Grand Rapids Public Library card or Kent District Library card at the Van Andel Arena box office on the day of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours (M-F 10-6; Sat. 10-2) can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 - a savings of $7! Limit four tickets per card per person.

Post-Game Autographs: Presented by Huntington Bank, select Griffins players will sign autographs following the game from the Griffins bench.

Post-Game Skate: Bring your skates and take to the ice for the Post-Game Open Skate.
