Preview: Friday's 'Social Media' Night

Social Media will be taking over the Buffalo Bisons and Coca-Cola field this fridaynightbash!, sponsored by Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, on May 29th. Throughout the evening of Bisons' baseball, fans will have the opportunity to tweet, like and post their way to great prizes!

The Bisons host the Rochester Red Wings this Friday for a single-admission doubleheader beginning at 5:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. for the Flying Bison Happy Hour featuring $3 craft beer specials. One ticket is all you need for both games! TICKETS

Even before the game starts, fans can participate in Social Media Night. Fans can try to win the tickets via the team's three social media sites, Twitter (@BuffaloBisons), Facebook (facebook.com/GoBisons) and Instagram (@BuffaloBisons). Fans will be asked trivia questions, or be asked to "Like" a photo for a chance to win their way into the ballpark.

During the game, fans can share photos of themselves in the stands and see their picture appear on the scoreboard. A scavenger hunt will be ongoing throughout the evening with clues given on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as to where the prizes are hidden. During the first game, fans on Instagram can post pictures of themselves in the stands for a chance to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the evening's second game.

Baseballs autographed by the Bisons starting lineup will be given away on Twitter during the game. When a player has a particularly good play, their baseball will be posted for fans to win.

Not only does social media night allow for fans to leave with giveaways, it also allows them to have a say in certain game day operations. Using different hash tags, fans will be able to vote for what songs they want to hear played around the stadium. They will also be able to vote for the songs used for the other team's at-bat music for one inning.

Social Media Night will continue to give fans opportunities to win prizes and partake in game day events throughout the entire evening during the doubleheader against Rochester.
