Pigs and Braves Hoping Rain Holds Off

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Gwinnett Braves will resume Monday night's suspended game at 5:05 p.m. before playing Wednesday's regularly scheduled contest following the conclusion of the first game. Gwinnett leads 1-0 in the bottom of the 2nd.

Monday's contest will be completed as a full, nine-inning game, but game two will be seven innings.

LHP Anthony Vasquez is on the mound for the IronPigs in the bottom of the second inning in game one and the Braves' Barrett Kleinknecht is at the plate with runners at second and third and nobody out in the inning.

LHP Joely Rodriguez (2-3, 5.18) gets the start for the Pigs in game two. The southpaw tossed seven shutout innings and allowed just four hits while earning the win vs. Charlotte on Thursday. Rodriguez is 2-0, 2.29 in his last 3 GS (19.2 IP, 5 ER) after starting the season without a win in his first 6 GS.

RHP Chien-Ming Wang (1-4, 4.70) will be on the mound for the Braves in game one. Wang also earned the win in his last start as he gave up one run (none earned) on eight hits while fanning a pair over 7.2 IP at Columbus on Thursday. The veteran right-hander has gone at least six innings in each of his last 4 GS.

RHP Sugar Ray Marimon (2-2, 4.05) will get the start for Gwinnett in game two. Last time out, Marimon took the loss on Friday at Columbus as he surrendered seven runs on seven hits with four walks and a strikeout in 3.2 IP. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 12.91 ERA (11 ER, 7.2 IP) in his last 2 GS.
