Polasek Added to Comets Roster

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations, Pat Conacher, announced today that the Canucks have reassigned defenseman Adam Polasek from the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL to the Utica Comets.

This season Polasek has recorded two points (1-1-2) in 14 games this season for the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL. He has played in two games for the Comets this season, recording two penalty minutes.

He split the 2012-13 season between the American Hockey League and the ECHL. The Ostrava, Czechoslovakia native netted eight points (1-7-8), and 27 penalty minutes in 24 games with the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves last year, and another eight points (4-4-8) with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings.

Polasek was drafted in the fifth round (145th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
