Saskatoon Blades (6) @ Victoria Royals (4)

FRIDAY NIGHT FRENZY: A five-goal first period paved the way for a Saskatoon Blades 6-4 victory against the Victoria Royals at Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena. The win improves Saskatoon to 36-13-3-1, and are now tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with the Red Deer Rebels.

WELCOME BACK: It was a monumental return for pending WHL graduate Josh Pillar, who hasn't played since Nov. 26th vs the Winnipeg ICE due to a lower-body injury. Forward Justin Lies also returned to the lineup after he was on the shelf with an upper-body injury from a Jan. 27th game against the Red Deer Rebels

YEGOR SCORDOROV: Forward Egor Sidorov extended his point streak to 11 games with a four-point performance. The Vitebsk, Belarus product is closing in on the team lead for points with 33 goals and 62 points in 42 games.

NEXT GAME: The Bridge City Bunch return to the mainland and conclude their trip at the Langley Events Centre tomorrow against the Vancouver Giants

Puck drops at 9:00pm CST.
