Winnipeg Ice News Release
The Winnipeg ICE erased a 3-1 deficit scoring five consecutive goals in a 7-4 win over the Regina Pats Saturday night at Brandt Centre.
Zack Ostapchuk and Matthew Savoie each scored twice while Connor McClennon, Evan Friesen and Conor Geekie also found the back of the net as the ICE extended their winning streak to six games.
Connor Bedard, Stanislav Svozil, Brayden Barnett and Sam Oremba replied for the Pats.
Winnipeg outshot Regina 33-31. Bedard led all players with seven shots.
Daniel Hauser earned the victory in net while Kelton Pyne suffered the loss.
Both teams went 1/3 on the power play.
The ICE continue their road trip Monday in Swift Current with a 4:00 face off against the Broncos.
