
Four Winterhawks Prospects Competing at 2023 Canada Winter Games

Portland, Ore. - Four Portland Winterhawks prospects are set to compete for their home province at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island. The Under-16 male ice hockey competition will take place from Feb. 18 to Feb. 25, 2023.
Graham Jones (1st round, 2022 WHL Draft) will play for Team Manitoba. Kyle McDonough (2nd round, 2022 WHL Draft) and Ryan Miller (3rd round, 2022 WHL Draft) will represent Team Alberta. Cobe Perlinger (added to protected list in 2022) will compete for Team Saskatchewan.
Jones and Perlinger will compete in the Pool A preliminary round, while the two signed Alberta prospects, McDonough and Miller, will play in Pool B. All 12 Canadian provinces and territories competing will begin play on Sunday, February 19.
