Pigs Wrap up Series with Chiefs

September 4, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to snap a three-game skid when they wrap up their series with the Syracuse Chiefs on Friday night. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park.

RHP Sean O'Sullivan (4-2, 3.58) gets the ball for the Pigs on Friday. The right-hander got the win on Sunday at Syracuse when he gave up one run on one hit while walking five and fanning eight in six innings of work. Over his last three starts, O'Sullivan is 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA. In fact with a win tonight, the San Diego native would tie an IronPigs' franchise record with a win in his fourth consecutive start.

RHP Scott McGregor (6-5, 4.02) will be on the bump for Syracuse in the series finale. McGregor's last outing came in relief on Sunday vs. the Pigs when he allowed one run on one hit to go along with a walk and two strikeouts in an inning of work. In 14 starts with the Chiefs this season, the right-hander is 4-5 with a 4.31 ERA, but tonight will mark his first start since June 26 at Indianapolis.

There will be Friday Night Fireworks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network following the game.
