Hats off to Mud Hens fans: 2015 was another season of awesome memories made at Fifth Third Field! For the 14th consecutive season, attendance topped the 500,000 mark, with fans witnessing baseball history being made on more than one occasion!
Highlights from the 2015 season:
On August 3, Mike Hessman smashed home run number 433 in his minor league career, making him the all-time Minor League Baseball Home Run King.
On June 6, 13,300 fans watched Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander take the mound for a rehab start, the largest crowd in Fifth Third Field history.
This year, 531,249 fans caught Mud Hens baseball at Fifth Third Field.
Construction began on Hensville, Toledo's newest entertainment district, with opening set for Spring of 2016.
Thank you Mud Hens fans! It's not too early to secure a Game Plan or schedule a group outing for 2016: Opening Day is set for Thursday, April 7 at 4:05 p.m. vs. Louisville.
