Pigs Try for Split with PawSox

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to earn a split of the four-game set with the Pawtucket Red Sox on Sunday afternoon. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is set for 1:35 p.m.

RHP David Buchanan (3-0, 3.16) makes the start for the IronPigs on Sunday. Buchanan's last start came with the Phillies on Tuesday at Arizona when he gave up 11 runs on 11 hits while walking two and fanning one over 1.2 IP. The right-hander's last start with Lehigh Valley was back on July 25 vs. Syracuse when he earned the win after allowing three runs on nine hits to go along with three walks and two strikeouts in seven innings of work.

RHP William Cuevas (0-2, 3.00) will make his third career Triple-A start for the PawSox in the series finale. On Tuesday at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Cuevas was tagged with the loss after surrendering two runs on two hits while walking three and fanning four in five innings. The Caracas, Venezuela native was selected as an Eastern League All-Star after going 8-5 with a 3.40 ERA in 19 GS with Double-A Portland this season.

The first 2,000 fans 17 and under will receive an IronPigs Lunch Bag giveaway presented by the Outlets at Sands Bethlehem. Following the game, all children 12 and under can participate in "Post Game Kids Run the Bases" sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network.
