After splitting a day-night doubleheader yesterday (L, 5-2; W, 6-5), the IronPigs (54-68) play the finale of a four-game, three-day series against the sixth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (46-76) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-5 win in the night cap, the Pigs snapped a five-game losing streak -- their longest since a season-high, seven-gamer June 5-11 -- and an eight-game skid against North Division opponents. Still, the Pigs are 32-26 since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42)... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- fell short in their bid to win three-straight contests for the first time since a four-game surge from June 10-13. The Paw Sox have dropped 12 of their last 14 affairs, including an 11-game losing streak, and are just 8-37 since improving to 38-39 on June 28. They've also dropped 25 of their last 31 road games starting June 21... The Pigs took a three-game series in the last meeting, 2-1, at McCoy Stadium from July 10-12.
