Pigs Kick off Summer Season with Six-Game Homestand
May 29, 2018 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Memorial Day was the unofficial start to summer, and the IronPigs are giving fans feelings of warm summer nights with a six-game homestand this week at Coca-Cola Park.
This week of baseball begins Tuesday with Military Appreciation Night at Coca-Cola Park and concludes with LVHN Kids Run the Bases following our Sunday afternoon contest. In between there are two cap giveaways, two Fireworks displays, and tons of fun all around the ballpark.
The homestand kicks off with Tuesday's Military Appreciation Night presented by Nacci Printing, which features a military-style cap giveaway for 3,000 fans 18-and-older. The kids can pick up their own headwear ahead of Thursday's contest with an IronPigs Fighting Bacon cap giveaway presented by AAA East Central.
On Friday and Saturday, we'll light up the skies above the ballpark with One-Hit Wonder Friday Night Fireworks and Bacon-Themed Saturday Night Fireworks.
Sunday's game, presented by Lehigh Valley Aging In Place, will be proceeded by a parade of 2018 IronPiglets members, who will want to stick around to run the bases after the game's conclusion.
