Perrin named to Canadian AHL All-Star team

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the American Hockey League that center Eric Perrin has been named to the Canadian AHL All-Star team. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Perrin leads HERSHEY in scoring with 13 goals and 23 assists for 36 points entering tonight's game with the St. John's Maple Leafs. He enjoyed a HERSHEY season best nine-game point streak from December 26 to January 19. The Laval, Quebec native finished an All-Star season in 2003-04 by scoring 21 goals and assisting on 54 others to lead HERSHEY in scoring. Perrin was recalled to the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning on March 27 last season and was a member of the 2004 Stanley Cup Champions.

The Dodge AHL All Star Classic will be held at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on February 13-14.

The BEARS play at home tonight against the St. John's Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. before hosting the Hartford Wolf Pack Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and the Albany River Rats Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available for all three games by calling the GIANT Center box office at (717) 534-3911.
